

HerbY-Cheese
HerbY-Cheese is the first plant-based, nut-free cheese range that is developed and made in Singapore. HerbY-Cheese comprises blocks of:
- Cheddar
- Mozzarella
- Just Like Parme (our rendition of parmesan)
These vegan-friendly cheeses grate/shred and melt like regular cheeses, and taste great. Plus, they contain a source of pea protein, making HerbY-Cheese a sustainably nutritious choice.
HOW-TO-GUIDE FOR HERBY-CHEESE
HerbY-Cheese melts & grates like regular cheese. To enjoy HerbY-Cheese more like a usual dairy cheese, please note the following
Preventing Oil Separation under extreme heat conditions:
- Grate the cheeses in larger pieces to minimise risk of oil separation at extreme temperatures.
- Add the grated cheeses to the pizza when the dough is half-baked or 3/4 baked to minimise time in extreme heat.
General recommendations:
- Always keep the cheeses in the chiller & grate them immediately after they are removed from the chiller.
- HerbY-Cheese Mozzarella & HerbY-Cheese Cheddar are best eaten melted, as in the case of dairy cheeses. Consuming them raw may give a beany mouthfeel. HerbY-Cheese 'Just Like Parme' can be grated and shaved directly onto warm dishes like pizzas, pastas, quiches, etc, to enjoy, & can be melted too, as in the case of conventional dairy parmesan.
